We are often asked about the name Pink Pear. The answer is rooted in childhood trips to visit our mom’s sister Anne in Atlanta, Georgia. Aunt Anne loved taking us to charming, girly brunch type restaurants. She was the best at choosing those places. But one place stands in our hearts and memories as the most enchanting place of all, The Pink Pear. The fragrance of garden roses intertwined with jasmine rambling over gazebos was magical. We were in awe of how God’s creation could bring happiness and beauty. As we enjoyed tea and delicate sandwiches under the gazebo, we would laugh and dream about how fun it would be to have a floral business and name it The Pink Pear.
Fast-forward to 1994, when our mom Carolyn Crowe made her decision to open a wedding/special events business for my sister Susan Lynch and me. Memories came flooding back and yes of course our name had to be The Pink Pear. Our goal would be to work out of God’s beautiful creation to bring His blessing and joy to their special events. From 1994-1998 our business flourished, but Susan and I needed time to grow our families. In 2012, we reopened using all the floral techniques taught to us by our mom- an accomplished, gifted floral designer. Our business has continued to thrive. Stages often change but our true mission and goal for you, our client remains the same, bringing into reality your dreams of a perfect wedding day or special event. Our desire is to bring the joy and beauty of God’s creation to your event through thoughtful details, design, and execution.
